Applications for Media Accreditation must be submitted by June 30, 2024. Late applications will not be considered.
In addition to submitting an application, all media must purchase a “Festival” level pass or higher in order to be considered for accreditation. The Press Office does not provide complimentary passes to journalists seeking to cover the Festival.
Returning Journalists
If you attended the 2023 Telluride Film Festival as an accredited journalist, submit your 50th TFF coverage by June 30, 2024 and alert the Press Office of your return.
Please note: if you fail to provide past festival coverage, accreditation will automatically be denied.
If you covered the Telluride Film Festival in the past but recently changed media affiliation, please apply as a New Applicant to this year’s Festival.
New applicants
New applicants are required to submit the following:
- A letter of assignment from your editor on official company letterhead. This letter must include detailed information on the type, extent and publication time of the planned coverage.
- A recent film festival or film-related article written by you with an attached byline and date.
- A recent digital copy of the complete publication you are seeking accreditation for.
- A completed Telluride Film Festival Media Accreditation Request Form.

One applicant per request form. If your outlet is seeking accreditation for more than one person, your editor may write a single letter of assignment however each applicant’s name must be clearly listed.
All application materials must be submitted by email to press@telluridefilmfestival.org by June 30, 2024.
After receiving your application, the Press Office will review your materials. You will be notified, via e-mail, on the status of your request. If your application is approved, details will be sent to you stating how and where to pick up your pass and press credentials.
The Press Office reserves the right to approve or deny accreditation.
